Frontend-Focused Software Engineer

Jordan Falcon

I'm a software engineer with seven years of experience at ESPN and Disney, building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly digital experiences for sports fans. My background spans media, content management systems, consumer products, and high-traffic web applications. Currently open to software engineering opportunities in New York City, hybrid, or remote.

01 / About

About Me

I'm a frontend-focused software engineer in New York City, building digital products at the intersection of sports, media, and technology. I didn't start out headed for software. I began in retail, working my way from part-time sales associate to store manager at LIDS Sports Group in under a year — leading a team, reading customers, and learning to connect daily work to measurable results. In college, I started with mechanical engineering at NYU Polytechnic before realizing software development was the better fit for how I like to think: creative, problem-solving, technical. I went on to study computer science at CUNY Lehman College. From there, I worked at The New York Times and Gestalt Interactive, then joined ESPN as an intern — a role that grew into my current position as a Software Engineer II, where I build experiences used by sports fans across ESPN's platforms. What I care about most is turning complex requirements into products that feel simple and reliable, in close collaboration with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers. When I'm not coding, you'll find me at a salsa social, gaming, or working on a personal project.
